About

We are two siblings in Houston, Texas, who share a passion for Shakespeare plays.

We founded the Little Bards Academy in 2024 with a single mission: to make Shakespeare accessible, fun, and enriching for children and young adults through peer-to-peer group learning.

Immersive Shakespeare Workshops

Dive into the world of Shakespeare with our weekly workshops, where children explore adapted Shakespeare plays through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and creative expression. These sessions are not only about understanding Shakespeare’s language but also about encouraging children to find their voices and express themselves confidently.

Public Speaking and Performance Skills

With a focus on Shakespeare’s rich vocabulary and dramatic techniques, our classes equip young learners with the tools to improve their public speaking and performance skills. Children learn how to articulate their thoughts clearly, project their voices, and engage with an audience, all in a fun and supportive setting.

Cultural Appreciation and Language Development

Our curriculum is designed to foster a deep appreciation for the arts and culture, using Shakespeare’s timeless works as a gateway. By exploring themes, characters, and language, children develop a nuanced understanding of human emotions and societal values, enriching their language skills and cultural awareness.
